Merckens Sugar Free Coatings taste the best and work well for all chocolate making needs it is a high quality coating with a dark chocolate flavor. This product contains carbohydrates - not for use by diabetics without consulting a physician. Ingredients: Maltitol, Partially hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oil, Palm Oil, and Cottonseed Oil, Cocoa processed with alkali, Cocoa Glyceryl-Lacto Esters of Fatty Acids Soy Lecithin (an emulsifier), Natural Flavor, Vanilla ,Salt About Coatings - Although these wafers look and taste just like chocolate (white chocolate in the case of colored coatings), they are technically coatings. The FDA defines chocolate as a product containing chocolate liquor and cocoa butter which these do not contain. Excessive consumption may have a laxative effect . This product is prepared and packaged using machines that may come into contact with wheat/gluten, eggs, dairy or dairy products, peanuts, soy or tree nuts.
